I was surprised at how watery tasting this beer was. While it looks nice, it has a very light malt taste and smell to it and that's pretty much it. Easy to drink, but altogether kind of boring.

Wow. Deep amber with an excellent toffee head. Nice caramel-malt aroma followed closely by a superbly authentic caramel (but subtle) malt beer. Well-done O-fest style beer. Don't know what the other raters tried...this is excellent.

Colour is a very rich amber with a thick light tan head. Large malt aroma with some hints of spice lingering in the background. Thin bodied, almost like water with almost no taste. Some malt is evident later on in the taste, but almost no hops are present. Not even close to the style on this one, and a big disapointment. From the colour and the smell I figured I'd at least be able to drink this beer...but this is pretty bad! I got this twelve ounce bottle at Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia, but I'd suggest you not to do the same.

Weak aroma - malt, light bitterness. Sugary and bit of caramel. Kind of herbal. Small off-white foamy head that dissipated quickly. Small amount of haze in amber tan liquid. Medium watery body and medium subdued carbonation. King of weak in taste. Malty but not that sweet with some tang/saltiness. Very little bitterness. Weak and bitter finish and nutty after.

Beer just tastes better to me when I'm at the beach. I guess it's psychological. This is one of my faves when I'm down in Nags Head NC. Nice malt flavor but with a good balance. Not super deep, but still has a bit of complexity.

Pours a deep amber with a nice beige head. Aroma is strongly caramel. Flavor is watery caramel, with some German-style bitterness carrying through to the swallow. Decidedly bland.
