Feb 6, 2004 Poured a hazy, bright gold color with a quick white bubbly head. Aroma of soap, nutmeg, wheat and other spices, maybe some citrus as well. Taste was sweet, maybe some tart citrus, but I can't place the exact flavor here, but it was very carbonated. An OK weizen but a weak mouthfeel.

Jan 17, 2004 Lightly hazy, straw-colored lager with a very quickly dissipating, fizzy, white head.
Lots of spice, beef and smoke in the nose... beef jerky, in fact.
Malty and yeasty, yet well-balanced flavor. Citrus fruit, clove and straw. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, lemony, dry finish.

Aug 19, 2003 I don't like hefeweizens. Mostly because they just taste bad to me, but also because I am against serving garnish (the lemon) with beer.I don't know why I keep ordering them. I guess for the same reason that I order liver once in a while. I guess it was a decent wheat beer but I really couldn't tell you.

Aug 14, 2003 Typical cloudy weizen color. I tasted more cloves than banana in this one. Some tartness and some sweetness. Soft, effervescent mouthfeel. Good summer quencher.

Aug 11, 2003 Yeasty orange aroma. Typical wheat color - thin white head. A really good WeiB. Great flavor, malty and sweet.

Aug 9, 2003 THis reminds me of Dominion's weizen in that it looks like hell, doesn't smell all that wonderful, but has a fantastic flavor--fruitier than Dominion, lighter, but simply wonderful.

Aug 8, 2003 Looks like Mango juice. It's sweet and juicey with an odd tart candied aftertaste. No yeastiness or banana in this HW. Just OK.

Aug 1, 2003 My favorite, so far, from this brewer. Beautiful cloudy golden appearance. Nice fruity nose. Taste was mild and smooth with the traditional yeast characteristics of this style coming through. Some other noticable fruit in there, like green apple. Spiciness added to the clean finish.
