Elwood (659), Leesburg, Virginia, USA Oct 8, 2009 Serving: Draft
Appearance: Pale, slightly hazy gold color with a foamy white head.
Aroma: Light nose with notes of corn and grain.
Flavor: A litte malty and a tad sweeter than it should be in my mind. A little on the watery side to boot. Slight honey, floral, corn, and grain notes.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a light, watery mouthfeel and a short finish. It has this odd coating effect on the tongue too.
Overall: Skip it. It really doesn’t fall into the Kolsch category. 6ROW (243), corpus christi, Texas, USA Sep 26, 2009 hazy straw pour with a small white head. they need to bump up the co2 pressure, a little light on carb. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA Mar 24, 2009 Taste 3/9 bottle.
