Slightly cloudy pale amber. Aroma is slightly sour with peach, pear, and apple notes. Somewhat sour winey flavor with peach pear and apple and some graineyness. Moderate carbonation and an unremarkable finish. Okay but not what I was expecting. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2008 Bottle. Bubbly gold. Soft creamy white head. Nose is grains/cereal, soft fruit - hint of lemon, and maybe green apple. Taste is grainy and very fruity with some grass notes, lemon, and green apple skins. Lots of cereal notes here too. Body is light-medium and rather effervescent. As it trails off, there more malt and grain coming through and less fruit. The lemony tartness still rears its head but the apple wandered off. Not bad but nothing earth shattering either. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Draft at Brewery - I prefer the lighter Kolsch’s made in Koln (Schlafly Kolsch makes a good version). The Weeping Radish Kolsch is amber colored with a sweet malty aroma and mild medicinal flavor. Too sweet and rich for me. freekyp (901), Thomasville, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2007 Fruity and lightly tart with a nice cereal maltiness, this is a good stateside example of the Kolsh style. An easy drinking session brew, WR’s Kolsh pours a deep yellow with a rocky resilient white head and decent lacing. Hops are grassy and a bit of lemon comes through in the aroma.
