Label is like those white, oval euro-car stickers with black initials. EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2003 Bottle, ice cold. Pours gold with decent rapidly disappearing head. Aroma mild malt. Taste is clean with mild malt and very mild hop character. An OK beer that at least tastes like an all malt lager instead of rice or corn infested swill. Decent beer if you like lagers. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 9, 2003 Light clear golden color, light malt aroma, not much taste, clean ending with a slight sweetness. A decent yet unremarkable lager. ericnixon (719), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 8, 2003 Normally i go on for great and unnecessary length about the label. no need to do that here since in order for it to be any more generic it would have to say BEER on it. Somewhat golden/ambery hues in the color with a light lingering head. The taste has some lite (so light that i'm spelling it 'lite') hoppyness in the finish and aftertaste. amazingly generic...just like the label! kinda funny because in the description it says that it's a tribute to its location. kinda like making the Ford Pinto as a tribute to the location of Detroit or something. Much thanks for TogBean and Btownbrewer for bringing me back some of this from their vacation. TogBean (47), Belchertown, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 4, 2003 Recently took a family vacation to Ocracoke and found this one at the little grocery store. I thought, "Wow! The Outer Banks has ONE beer for itself. It must be good if it's the only one." I was sadly mistaken. This one was brewed for the average man and if you're spending time on this site, you are not joe average. It's got a nice clean pour, white head, slight fruity notes in the aroma and a nice golden color. Not much to talk about in the taste department though. Hops, water and i think they swished some malt though at the end for "flavor". I also found that it had a nasty mettalic aftertaste. A brew for the masses, not me. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2003 Clear yellow to gold body with a standard lager nose. Hops and slight malt. Pretty plain beer with hops and thin malt. Kind of watery and thin, but somewhat crisp. Average and the worst of the Weeping Radish beers I've had. kwoeltje (1321), Manchester, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2003 Pale gold. OK white head. Very faint hops aroma. Clean American lager. It was served to me cold, and that suited the beer. sloth (1677), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
