Deep caramel color with an off white head that quickly went away. Rich malty aroma with a tad too much alcohol present. Definitve nutty maltiness present, but a bit on the thin side. I like that fact that it’s not very sweet, just wish it had a bit more of a malty punch.

On the light/thin side for a fest beer, but very pleasing toasted malt flavor

Well, I get to be #10, Mr. Make or beak as they say. An honor. poured a nice burnt umber coloring. Off white head, nice lacing. The aroma caramel, sour malts, yeast and nuts. The taste is like the nose, Caramel, malts, sourness that is not unpleasant. Mouth feel was midlevel and the finish was smooth. I liked this guys. Thank you to suttree.

Not a bad example of the style. More on the lighter side of Marzen (Dominion, Victory, Burgerbrau) than the richer side (Spaten, Paulaner, Sam’l Adams). Quite pleasant and would buy again.

Dark brown color with medium tan off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, spice. Tastes as it smells, with s good complexity comprised of the malt, caramel, spice, and I even caught some pumpkin in this.
