harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England May 2, 2006 Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Chestnut colour. Nice enough premium bitter. Some red berry. Fine TheGrandMaster (1490), Auckland, New Zealand Apr 22, 2006 Half pint pulled at the Corn Mill in Llangollen (Denbighshire, Wales), a clear light brown with a frothy slightly off-white head. A grassy hop aroma with some maltiness in the background. A subtle bitterness with a light mouthfeel and a short finish. Malt, with a little bit of space, is the dominant flavour. DJMonarch (4091), Northwich, Cheshire, England Mar 4, 2006 1. Cask Handpump at the Morris Dancer, Kelsall 14/04/2001

3. Cask Handpump at the Cross Keys, Knutsford 26/11/2002
Amber coloured with a malty aroma. Slightly bitter finish. Spiesy (2331), Global Citizen, Greater London, England Aug 12, 2004 Cask Conditioned, at the GBBF, 2004. Golden body with white sudsy head, from the fresh pour. Muted hops and malts are somewhat overwhelmed (unjustly) by a sweetness that comes through from the start. Didn’t really get the point of the beer but enjoyed the taste from a new brewery. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Aug 10, 2004 Rich, deep amber colour. Restrained floral hop and dry malt aroma. Much the same on the palate, with a touch of sweetness. Bitter-sweet finish. Medium bodied. A very decent, well balanced, best bitter in a quite traditional style. Cask, GBBF 2004, day 1.
