| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 26, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Soft fruity nose coming out of a cloudy, pee-colored beer. Confused. This brew is pretty aight, though one would assume the "world’s oldest brewery" would know a thing or two about beer. wxman (588), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 20, 2008 A yellow straw color with a thin white head that had nice retention. Aroma was of mainly corn notes but had some lingering sweetness. Flavor was similar to a pale lager with mostly unpleasant corn-like malt notes. Finish was watery.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 17, 2008 Poured rather pale lemon tending orange colour with a reasonable snow white head that dissapates rather quickly. Aromas are dominated by sweet fruit (mainly citrus) with some grainy malt coming into play also. Palate shows more of the same, with the grainy malt adding an almost flinty character (IMO) Rather light palate is served well by the dry finish, that perhaps lacks penetration due to the extremely low bitterness, which i suppose the style requires. I can see why this is their Oktoberfest brew, its really drinkable!
