Commercial Description:
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Very light, orange color. Weak fizziness with the sweet malts go well together. Alcohol apparent in end. Some light peach and coriander flavor in the end too.

1 pt .9 oz bottle. I am rather indifferent to the aroma, it doesn’t necessarily please or displease me, dry, burnt pale and caramel malt, and straw grain hop. Ok pour, though head retention is pretty weak, lots of carbonation, semi-watery looking, golden-corn yellow color. Not bad tasting, though this is not my favorite style of beer, basically a stronger dry-roasted caramel and German lager malt presence on top of a crisp, straw-type hop that lingers pretty well, and a has a pretty good feel to it overall. Not too bad, though not too great.

(draft @ The Old Toad - Rochester, NY) Clear copper color with a puffy tan head. Aroma is malty and dry with some caramel, dry grains, and biscuit notes. Flavor is much the same. Dry and lightly sweet at the beginning with a middle of cookie dough and a very light malt aftertaste.

Clear, bright gold appearance with an average size white head and decent lacing. Subdued aroma of caramel malt and cereal. Soft, malty, modestly sweet taste offers up images of biscuits and fresh bread. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a short lived finish.

20080927 12oz bottle from Spirits RB. Clear golden with thin white head. Aroma is mild doughy yeast and light toast notes. Mildly herby, grassy hops. Clean and very pleasant. Lively eff on the palate. Extremely drinkable while cool. This stuff seems like a dortmunder. As it warms some of the alcohol sweetly emerges and might have started to dominate but I drank that sucker down right quick. In your FACE Weihenstephaner!

From a brown bottle in Albuquerque, pours a clear gold color with streaming bubbles and a thin white head. Light-to-medium body, Very clean light maltiness. Soft mouthfeel. Slightly dry finish with a touch of hops bitterness. Very "light" for a Märzen but nice.

Pours a very light golden color with full head. Slightly sweet aroma but very disquised and faint. Subtle malt taste and very light on the palate for an Oktoberfest brew. Not bursting with flavor and complexity but a good overall beer.
