Commercial Description:
A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

I’m surprised at the low percentile. This seems to have a decent mix of cereal grains with its caramel malt character. Obviously, this one is geared towards mass drinkability for this time of year. That crispy dry malt flavor reminds me of the more mainstream beers but there is some hoppy assertiveness underneath.

Tap at Toronado. Typical Oktoberfest beer. Fairly light in color, with a lot of grains and hops. Some malt component. Easy drinking , session beer, the proper beer for the Fest.

This Marzen pours an orange gold color from a 50cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, good retention with nice lacing. Aroma is grassy and citrusy. Light bodied Marzen. Malts are grassy and sweet. Hops are earthy and floral. This is a VERY light tasting Marzen, it is much more a Bohemian pilsners than a Marzen. It has very little toasted malt flavors and more hops than I would expect. Still it has a nice balance and a very full and round mouthfeel. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet

Pours golden with a little white head. A little lighter in color than expected. Aroma is very malty and slightly toasted. Flavor is malty with some backend bitterness to satisfy. Very satisfying. This would be a great session beer as it is easy to drink.

Light hay aroma with a touch of citrus. Pale golden color with white head. Flavor is sweet initially with a bitter duration. Duration is fairly long and enjoyable. Touches of lemon, caramel, and hay. Light creaminess on the palate. Well balanced and fairly enjoyable.

Pours a golden yellow color with a small thin white head, more a ring than an actuall head. Aroma is sweet of hay and wheat and a touch of caramel. Taste is also fairly sweet biscuity taste to it with some sticky sweetness to it. Very refreshing beer light sweetness is balanced by a nice hop profile. Actually I liked this Marzen better than most because to me, this has a bit more hops than many others and just rounds and smooths out this beer. I think this is a bit underrated and this is a style I don’t even really like but I would certainly drink this again, tasty.

Pours gold with a thin but stubborn white head. Smells of caramel, toffee, splashes of citrus and sage. Tastes of sweet malt, biscuits, caramel, some peppery splashes. Dry finish with some more bitterness. Very sessionable.
