| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 3, 2009 Fairly standard stuff. Deep amber, white head. The aroma is tepid caramel malts. The flavor follows, a relatively weak malty beverage. Very light hops on the finish. Not bad at all, not a classic by any means.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Bottle served in dimpled mug. Frothy foam tops a pale yellow body. Pretty, sweet, wheat nose. Sweet light-medium bodied palate. Some sticky, light bitterness on the finish. The "Fest" isnt exactly like standard domestic Christmas fare, but it isn’t a bad brew nonetheless. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Piss yellow. Grain, rice, corn, piss. These are the things that this beer both smells and tastes like. Worst beer from this good brewery that I’ve ever had. fonefan (11525), VestJylland, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Doesn’t have the same flavor as many of the other oktoberfest beers. This beer is much lighter in color than most of the other amber colored Oktoberfest beers. Beer is a translucent yellow color with a little head. Flavor is a pretty boring light hoppy taste. Weihenstephaner produces some great beers, but this is not one of them. popery (169), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 23, 2009 A pretty good marzen but a bit of a disappointment compared to most from Weihenstephan. Aroma has more of the rich vinous malt flavor important to the style than the flavor. Not bad but not particularly good compared to better version, like Ayinger. yespr (12137), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 13, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild cornish and light grassy. Caramelish and light roasted flavoured. Smooth malty finish, subdued bitterness. BeerChaser0078 (332), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a large fluffy white head that lasts well and leaves a bit of lace. Sweet, grainy aroma has notes of malt, caramel and citrus. Flavour is less sweet but otherwise identical to the aroma. Light body, thin mouthfeel and a short, slightly sweet finish. Easy to drink but nothing particularly memorable either. Not really up to the standard of most of this brewery’s beers. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA
