| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2009 A: Pours a light golden yellow color with a medium head.
S: No real malt aroma. A bit of hops noted with a bit of citrus.
T: Yeah, it’s no Oktoberfest brew. More hop than malt. Citrus is noted above and beyond all else. There is a bit of malt sweetness in the background but not up front where I want it should be.
M: Medium bodied and very sparkling for a fest brew. kevd193213 (508), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Bottle. Light copper pour with a nice fizzy white. Aroma of malt and spices. Nice even taste of malt, spices and slight sharp taste. Even finish. curly (650), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 16, 2009 Clear pale yellow, thick frothy white head. Aroma- apple, grain pear. Taste is mild sweetness more like a crappy pale lager though. What the hell kind of a festbier is this? is it super traditional because it’s unlike other German Festbier’s. Medium light body, this beer is crisp clean and refreshing but again i’m not so sure it’s a good Festbier or Marzen becasue it lacks that biscuity doughy malt. topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Pours clear golden with a big white head. Aroma is sweet malt, a bit of toast and hops. Flavor is sweet and malty. Decent, but really a pretty boring beer. cmonster (113), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2009 Bottle served in dimpled mug. Frothy foam tops a pale yellow body. Pretty, sweet, wheat nose. Sweet light-medium bodied palate. Some sticky, light bitterness on the finish. The "Fest" isnt exactly like standard domestic Christmas fare, but it isn’t a bad brew nonetheless. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Piss yellow. Grain, rice, corn, piss. These are the things that this beer both smells and tastes like. Worst beer from this good brewery that I’ve ever had. fonefan (11866), VestJylland, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Doesn’t have the same flavor as many of the other oktoberfest beers. This beer is much lighter in color than most of the other amber colored Oktoberfest beers. Beer is a translucent yellow color with a little head. Flavor is a pretty boring light hoppy taste. Weihenstephaner produces some great beers, but this is not one of them.
