Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

Good hefe. Better than the kristal version they produce. Pours cloudy yellow with a nice white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Tastes of wheat and banana. Smooth mouthfeel. Good stuff.

FInally a change of pace for me from my usual imperial stouts and IPAs. Smells and tastes of banana, very pleasant, perfect looking pour. Excellent stuff.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy gold body with lots of continuous rising carbonation. Small, but very creamy white head that lasts throughout the entire session, however, leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is bready wheat and bananas. Distinct floral yeast aroma with mellow wheats and a light pepper spice. Flavor is much of the same. Wheat, yeast, ripe banana, and a hint of a light lingering spice. Palate is medium bodied and smooth throughout. Overall, this is probably my favorite hefe and its made damn well. Not the most exciting of styles, but very refreshing and enjoyable.

of all the hefe’s this is top dog. They are only the oldest brewery in the world so there doing something right. the body has a nice golden color with a cloudy haze to it, and a fluffy white head. (this is what i imagine, when i think of a perfect beer should look like) its got a sweet banana aroma. the taste has a perfect blend of banana and clove. (i find a lot of hefe’s have two much of one and not enough of the other) and it goes down so smooth, like grapejuice. if your looking for a nice light beer, or a great beer to enjoy in the summer while sitting around a pool reading a book, or new to craft beer drinking and need a place to start. you just can’t beat this beer. if you like your beers richer or higher in alcohol, you might find this on the weak side. but without a doubt this beer always delivers.

A tart citrus aroma accompanied the pour of the cloudy golden beer. A nice white head lingered with good lacing. The taste was sweet, with an active carbonation that bit the tongue quickly followed by a hoppy, clove spiciness.

On tap. Poured a cloudy yellow with a nice white head. Very typical aroma, wheaty, citrusy. Good round body. Wheat and banana flavors. Was more pedestrian than I was hoping but a good hefe nonetheless.

Color: slightly cloudy golden with a trace of orange. Thick head that slowly dissipates to about ¼”. Nose: spice and fruit rind. Taste: Malted wheat, touch of clove, hint of grapefruit and lemon. A very clean, smooth, refreshing brew with almost no bitterness. Solid carbonation, slightly dry finish. Nothing is overpowering here. Very pleasant and very good.
