| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2008 Pours hazy pale amber with pale gold highlights, and a tall foamy white head, that has good retention and lacing. Aroma is full of banana, some yeasty bread rolls, bubble gum, strawberry starburst, bubble gum, and lemon. Flavor is good, really good. Orange glazed dinner rolls, banana, clove, bubble gum, fruity yeast. Finish is very clean wheat, spicy yeast, and a some watery orange. Body is a little thin...I think, its difficult to gauge since every sip seems like a million flavorful little ants are fighting in my mouth - very over carbonated, but seems to settle down by the end of the bottle. Still, best Hefe I have had. MishkinBeer (65), , New York, USA

It looks like a unfilterd apple juice with a white head. The aroma contains wheat and yeast. A bit to high on carbonation. Will buy it again in the summer! Travlr (787), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Cloudy pale gold with a two inch white head a good amount of lacings. Aroma is spicey.
Taste is bready, spicey, some bitter earthy hops.
Mouthfeel is very good and highly sessionable.
Very nice Hefe. Decent value at $2.99 US for a little over one pint. Well recommended. tarheels86 (812), Washington DC, USA

Fairly high carbonation. Nose of yeast, bananas, orange peel, lemon zest- standard wheat beer. Taste brings out some cloves and citrus tartness. Fairly light bodied but excellent. Nice dry finish. Best hefeweizen I have had.
