| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 21, 2008 On tap at Newport Pizza and Ale house. Aroma is yeasty with esters of banana and coriander. Color is a hazy orange yellow with very good carbonation and a big thick head. Taste is light and fruity. Starting with medium body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with a fruity yeast flavor and a mellow citrus taste then ends with a faint banana and coriander flavor and a gentle bitterness. After taste is clean with the citrus taste riding out the longest. This is one of the best Hefeweizens I nave ever had.

Cloudy, blond with billowy, ample head. Lots of carbonation, lots of flavor- sour banana. tart, refreshing. Complex, forward yeast flavor. Must compare this to some local wheat beers. urraca (44), New Jersey, USA

Absolutely brilliant golden-yellow with a great, large, airy. white head that lasts for quite some time. Superb head retention that slowly reduces to a full silky canopy and lace. Very Vibrant bouquet with major hints of banana, citrus, and a hint of cloves and vanilla. Citrus favors dominate along with major compliments of banana and clove. I’m now on a major mission to find this on tap, but the bottles are other worldly already. ndfreak77 (76), USA
