Regardless, this is an excellent beer that would satisfy me on most nights (except on a bitter winter evening). Cheers. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada

Lovely clouded orange-gold with a massive meringue head, great retention, massive lacing.
Aroma: much like Schneider weissbier without the dried fruit tones ...this is the original hefeweiss yeast and we get juicy fruits, banana, clove, vanilla bean, a bit of bubblegum over some sweet doughy malts.
Dry character, moderate body, great peppery mouth feel, a tad spritzy but not as pronounced as bottle conditioned wheats, great blend/balance of fruit-spice-dry toasty wheat....dry clean finish...wonderfully refreshing beer, very drinkable...can’t wait to taste it unpasteurized on tap.
Better tasting than Schneider, Paulaner, Hacker-P, Augustiner, Schöfferhofer,Andechser...and probably better than Ayinger when fresh...cummon you know it! TheJester (741), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 31, 2008 500 mL bottle. (bb 04/03/09). Cloudy yellow-brown with a decent white head. Typical banana-clove aroma with a little citrus in there as well. Lots of wheat and spice in the flavour, with some citrus up front, and a discernible but un-nameable (by me, anyhow) spiciness near the end that distinguishes it from othere hefes I’ve tried. Nicely carbonated, and a pleasant spicy, dry finish. Great summer beer. janir (215), Oulu, Finland

Aroma is wheaty malty, banana-like and yeasty. Flavor is well-balanced and quite mild: banana, yeast, . Light-bodied and slightly foamy carbonated palate. Ported (67), Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2008 Bottle. Hazy honey colour with a large white head. Bubblegum and yeast are at the forefront with citrus, spice, and very subtle hops lingering in the background. Well carbonated to the last sip, very light and airy feeling. A good, easy-drinking summer beer, but I was expecting more. yespr (12426), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Aroma and flavours softly spicy and very full-bodied. The perfect summer beer, and one I’ll be buying lots of. Other than Denison’s Weiss, this is certainly the best Weiss I’ve had, and surprisingly fresh too. Absolutely fabulous. Angeloregon (2036), Portland, Oregon, USA
