Thick, cloudy gold color with a fine, thick, head. Grainy cereal aroma with restrained banana and clove. Slightly cardboardy, with banana, clove, creamy wheat malt. Too far from the source to match the real thing, but still good.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2009 Bottled. Murky cider like color with a big white fluffy eggwhite head that thins to medium. Aroma is floral, fruity specifically bananas, and overly citrusy. Smells clean. Flavor is sweet and crisp and wheaty. Dry long finish that lingers. Subtle notes of alcohol for a wheat beer. a complex wheat brew. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Hazy golden pour with just a touch of orangy gold. Thin but firm head. Very warming citrus and spicy scent. Wow. Not that is a Wheat Beer! This is by far the best wheat I have ever had and that’s saying a lot as it’s one of my favorite styles. This is amazing. One of the best beers I have had in a long time. JK54B (951), Helsinki, Finland

| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1pt, .9oz bottle into a weizen glass. There is no freshness date but there is a bottle number of 6069 printed on the back.
Appearance: The body is cloudy and has an old gold or dark golden color with a tall white head on top. The head is thick and foamy, long lasting and makes spotty lacing on the glass.
Smell: The nose is sweet and full of fruity yeast with notes of banana, bubble gum and wheat malt.
Taste/Mouth: There are bready and yeast flavors up front with banana notes and a touch of clove coming through. The finish has pleasant tangy wheat and very mild hop bitterness which give it some dryness. The palate has a refreshing, easy drinking medium body with nice active carbonation and a lively crisp texture.
Notes: This is a world class beer from the oldest brewery in the world.

Nice foggy- yellow colour that really gives you the impression that this one is made of honey. And the taste is no different cause is like you feel the honey in it. It also has the classic bitterness at the end but its taste really gives this one a place among the best weissbiers. Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Opaque warm peach pour, dense, abundant clouds of ivory bubbles. Sun-warmed dessert apples in the nose, vanilla, clove, just a faint little lactic note—icing on the cake. Spritzy, tinglely-tangly wheat, restrained honey sweetness. Teaming with microscopic points of fruit and spice, such complexity that no sip registers quite the same: now orange blossoms, now cloves, now lemon, now coriander seed. Hops restrained but when sought for, definitely show: a firm resiny presence lending some nice shape. Soft and full on the palate. Delicious and completely endearing.
