Commercial Description:
Nothing refreshes you more than this naturally cloudy wheat beer with its wonderful yeasty fragrance and taste. Goes well with dishes that do not have too intensive a flavour, especially that Bavarian speciality 'Weisswurst' or white sausage.

It smells like a wheat field and is a pure wheat straw color, just slightly cloudy. It has a pure delicious wheat beer flavor in the tradition of the German purity laws. There is a smooth, lingering, pleasant aftertaste as well.

500 mL Bottle. Murky straw body with a thin white foamy head. Aroma of plum sauce and bananas with faint notes of cloves, pears, melon, and wildflowers. Full flavor of malt / wheat with notes of tangerine peel, cloves, bananas, and an innuendo of pineapple with a finish that is like cantaloupe. Hey Hefe lovers, check this one out. Actually, I enjoyed it with my chicken dinner.

BOTTLE: gold pour, somewhat hazy. Wheat, orange/citrus, and banana on the nose and taste, some spice in the taste as well. Great beer.

Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a very nice looking cloudy yellow/orange with thick creamy white head. Aroma is terrific, wheaty malt, banana, a little orange. Flavor is malty, banana, fruit, very balanced. Mouth feel is medium body, soft, medium-high carbonation. Overall, a very tasty hef...

Bottle. Light hazy yellow, massive white head, good amount of lacing. Aroma is sweet, fruity, estery, banana, cloves, citrus, coriander and yeast. Flavour is full and mouthfeel is thick and smooth.Crisp, dry finish. The best hefeweissen I’ve had. Lovely.

Bottle from the LCBO. While a great weissbier, it lags behind Denison’s, which I hold as the ideal to achieve. Good amount of lacing with a golden pour. Touch of sugar hidden beneath the primary flavours of banana, cloves and coriander. Clean finish, and a very enjoyable beer. Weissbiers are one of the few lighter beers I enjoy drinking, and this is definitely one of the top I have had the chance to drink.

Bottle at LCBO - Top rated (essentially) Hefeweizen? Eh, I suppose so, I’m more into witbiers though. Anyways, it pours nice into a nearly opaque, dark yellow/orange with a head that’s nothing special. The nose and taste is VERY similar to Pauliner, so the wheat, citrus, and do I sense some banana? Either way it’s a very nice wheat beer experience with a nice aftertaste, only problem I have with it is that it angers my stomache a little bit, but that’s just me.
