Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier Alkoholfrei

Bottle from Systembolaget. Beautiful hazy orange beer with a tall foamy head. Aroma is quite weak but you can find some yeasty weissbier aroma from this. To my suprise there is some flavor in this alcoholfrei version, banana and wheat. Watery mouthfeel. Not bad for an alcoholfree beer.

50cl bottle, local shop. Good non-alcoholic, yellowish head, yeast aroma, taste of banana, well carbonated.

A bottle from local K-Market 0.5L. Mild wheaty and bananey nose. Quite foaming one. Hazy pale yellow slightly orange colour. Sour and slightly bananey taste. Mild hoppiness. A very nice non-alcoholic beer!

Bottled. Really hard to describe this beer. The original hefe is one of the best beers in the world, so no comparison can be done with this. Hazy orange with solid, big head. Aroma holds pretty much phenols, along with the second or third runnings from a mash. It’s a bit metallic and hard. Flavourwise, it’s big on Co2, which gets a bit too much when there’s no matching alcohol or body. Phenols are there, as in metal and overboiled tea. Very little fruitiness. Naah, I wouldn’t say this is very good. But which low alcohol beer is?

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity wheat malty banana aroma. Sweetish thin and watery wheat malty aroma with hints of citrus. Has a thin wheat malty citrus finish with hints of bananas.

cloudy yellow, large white head. aroma : wheat , faint cereral, yeast, peach flavor : wheat, faint peach, cereral, dry.

500 ml bottle. Beautiful cloudy orange. Tall fine-laced fluffy head. Slightly floral and bready aroma. Light-bodied. Wheaty flavours. Slightly soapy, but with the classical weissbier flavours. Just a little banana. The cloves are there, but less than in their regular weissbier. Finish is watery and with a lightly dry hop bitterness. Has less body, but overall I think this is a pretty good non-alcohol weissbier.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of bananas and brewmash. Fruity flavour of bananas, brewmash and hay. Light watery.
