Bottle, into a Weihenstephaner Weissbier glass, to enjoy with my lunch of all things. Typically attractive ’Weihenstephaner’ on show as it settles into the glass. Head rose a good inch from the brim and held there, a dense, rocky cloud of white. The body a tawny shade of gold, hazy, and amassing a mad flurry of fine carbonation. Subtle grain, a little over-ripe, browning banana and a whack of burnt sugar on the nose. Quite sweet. Thin and little fizzy for first impressions. Heavy clove and cracked pepper notes define it. Layers of grainy, wholemeal flavours begin to show in the aftertaste and gradually blend in on the palate. Carbonation softens and the beer thickens in body, becoming doughy as it goes. There is a tangy, sour wheat-malt edge in back. Nice quenching finish. Quite pleasant overall. I generally see NA beers as a waste, but this makes for decent drinking and for that I give it credit. One of the best NA beers I’ve had. (50cL, 08/03/07, Int’l Beer Shop, W. Leederville)

Hefe-orange-golden color, I had thise one very much on dinner time at an "rastatte" on the german autobahn. less domenating than a regular full one with 4.8% (with the fat food) just a good hefeweizen.

The bottle is simple designed, but not bad. The beer in the glass looks really good, fine creamy foam, like a normal hefeweizen. I like that beer.

Københavnske Øldage 07. Bottle. Let it be said - normally I avoid tasting non-alcoholic weiss biers, because they are revolting. This hazy golden specimen has a nice aroma with banana and wheat - and I have to ask if this really IS the non-alcoholic version - but it is! The flavour is surprisingly full-bodied, it has notes of banana, light sweetness and all that I expect to find in a hefe. I’m impressed, and I never would have guessed that this was non-alcoholic - well done!!! 2180

50cl Bottle @ home. Pours very cloudy yellow/orange, big white head. Aroma of yeast, banana and dry wheat. Flavour is acidic, citrus, yeast and wheat. Lacks body, but is rather refreshing and not bad at all. Actually, this is by far the best low alcohol beer I’ve had so far.
