Bananaish nose with caramel and a sweetish aroma. Touch of cloves. Pleasantly sweet, effervescent and medium full on the palate. Slightly herbal bitterness, with banana and caramel doing the most of the job. Some spicyness too. Some bitterness to go with the sweetness in the finish. Quite pleasant, but not as easy to drink as I would like it. Fine. (090205) JohnQPublic (387), Brooklyn, New York, USA

Pours very hazy light milk chocolate brown, with a healthy fluffy off-white head on top. Nose is sweet, heavy on bananas, a bit of vanilla pudding. Flavor is very smooth - you get the tangy wheat in there, alongside bananas, clove, a bit of sweet malt comes through in the form of a super light cocoa note, as well as the mellow, smooth quality. Soft carbonation, light bodied. Yum. bw1982 (80), , Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2009 Dark tan to copper color with big lacy light tan head. Aromas of some clove and of course wheat. Looks excellent in the glass, the head keeps on throughout the beer. Flavor is strong on the wheat, with some malt and cloves, a small bit of banana flavor. There is a slight spice, but this is certainly not a spicy beer. rds (230), USA

grain and faint banana. Nice mouthfeel. Substantial, but not thick. Flavor is wheat, malt, banana, and mild spices. Mainly cloves. Spice is tame and in the background. A little sweet, but not cloying. Quite enjoyable. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
