| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 1, 2009 On tap at Lunar BrewingCo. and although normally served in a Weizen glass, requested a smaller amount in a Czech-pils glass. Poured a cloudy, amber/brown with modest, off white foam to the head, and some curtainy lacing. The aroma had a tomato juice/V-8 scent to it. Although a touch of the nose carried over, the flavor was closer to style with some graininess, light notes of ripe banana cream, and stronger spice/clove notes. Just a hint of sweetness was evident. The carbonation was good and the body was medium. Not bad except for the unpleasant beginning. Will have to try again down the road. Rune (2845), Tromsø, Norway
