Pours cloudy brown with huge light tan head. Aromas of wheat and clove. Mild sweet flvaor with clove and citrus. Medium body with minimal carbonation and a velvety mouthfeel. Very refreshing on a hot, humid Miami afteroon.

Great Dunkel...initial flavor is sweet with banana peel and spicy mustard. Finishes slightly watery.

Bottle courtesy of Gregclow, thanks!! Looks like perfection - hazy dark yellow and golden brown, big fluffy head (great lacing), lots of slowly moving steady bubbles - lovely. Strong coriander and wheat malt aroma, cloves, banana and yeast as well. Taste is nice - lots of citrus like fruit, wheat, yeast, and lots of more clove in the finish. A really nice dark wheat - a perfect flavourful summer beer.

pours a murky orange brown with huge tan head and a heavy malt aroma. the flavor is mostly caramel malts to me, slightly yeasty, great flavor and very appetizing.

Sampled at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Wednesday evening tasting, conducted by Badgerben. Pours a semi-hazy copper brown brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a film top and white ring, with some spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, banana esters, some yeast, cloves and a touch of caramel. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of Wheat Chex with bananas and a touch of cloves. Finish is semi-sweet with an aftertaste of spiced cloves and banana. Actually, not too bad for a mass produced Heffe Dunkel.

Munchen import back home. Muddy amber pour fizzing with bits and firmly collared with froth. Aroma spicy and slightly vegetal, with banana, clove, red apple and a slight edge of sourness. Dryish and lightly spicy n the mouth, with more earthy apple peel fruit than banana, pepper and mellowing biscuit. Carbonation a bit prickly and annoying, but as tasty and accomplished as you’d expect.

Cloudy amber with a small white head. Weak aroma of banana and clove. Dry and malty flavour with a little banana.

Bottle, Pours hazy, copper with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity nose with light malt and notes of bread. Sweet flavour with fruit and corn. Light to medium bodied. Pleasant.
