Looks like perfection - hazy dark yellow and golden brown, big fluffy head (great lacing), lots of slowly moving steady bubbles - lovely. Strong coriander and wheat malt aroma, cloves, banana and yeast as well. Taste is nice - lots of citrus like fruit, wheat, yeast, and lots of more clove in the finish. A really nice dark wheat - a perfect flavourful summer beer. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA

Pours a semi-hazy copper brown brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates to a film top and white ring, with some spotty lacing. Aroma of multi-grain malt, banana esters, some yeast, cloves and a touch of caramel. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of Wheat Chex with bananas and a touch of cloves. Finish is semi-sweet with an aftertaste of spiced cloves and banana. Actually, not too bad for a mass produced Heffe Dunkel. DruncanVeasey (2764), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Munchen import back home. Muddy amber pour fizzing with bits and firmly collared with froth. Aroma spicy and slightly vegetal, with banana, clove, red apple and a slight edge of sourness. Dryish and lightly spicy n the mouth, with more earthy apple peel fruit than banana, pepper and mellowing biscuit. Carbonation a bit prickly and annoying, but as tasty and accomplished as you’d expect. ChristianScheffel (4670), Odense, Denmark
