Commercial Description:
Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

bottle. Poured hazy, dark orange with plenty of foam. Banana present in the aroma and flavor, along with clove. Sort of roasty. Looks more carbonated than it is. Foamy, light mouthfeel. A hint of soft bitterness in the aftertaste. Very subtle and exceptionally refreshing. Was a little better on tap. One more reason I am a fan of German wheats.

Cloudy dark brown colour with a thin off-white/beige coloured head. Thin to medium bodied with fairly low carbonation. A little sweetness in the flavour...malty, slight taste of banana, low bitterness. Pretty good. - 500 ml bottle.

Murky brown with a tan head. Low to medium carbonation. Sweet, wheaty, with banana and cloves. I enjoyed this more than their regular Hefe Weissbier.

500ml bottle. pours hazy light brown with off white head. aroma of toasted biscuity, banana, cloves, floral hops, hints of chocolate. flavors are a bit citrusy banana, slightly toasted malt, perfumy hop flavor. full of flavor, light on the palate making this very refreshing. a perfect chilly spring or fall beer.

My 100th beer!! Pours a very hazy dark amber colour with a big white head. Has a very mality smell and a good wheaty flavor. Very easy to drink. Well balanced. It took me a few minutes at the liquer store to pick out what was going to be my 100th beer and I’m glad I didn’t screw it up. I drank this out of a Weizen.

Bottle picked up from Sainsburys in Kidlington. Consumed 26.3.08 Pours murky, hazy dark amber, with a light beige big fluffy head. Some banana & spices on the nose, light fruitiness at the back of the mouth coupled with a sweet vanilla creaminess. A really nice beer.

...one of the greatest beers out there. Mixes dark malty, and mellow flavors, with a creamy taste that lingers in the head, and begs you to take another gulp. Dark dryish fruit flavors complement to the complexity of this great beer, drink it.

Nice flavor. I prefer the regular hefes over the dunkels, but this one is pretty good. Nice sweet balance of the yeast, malts, and fruits- comes together nicely.
