I am not a fan of most but there are a couple that are quite nice, This beer has a darkish, cloudy appearance, almost malty flavor and great finish. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Sweet and spicy aroma of clove, coriander, and banana of moderate strength. Amber color with a thick frothy yellowish head. It’s cloudy, but not as much as I expected. Rather acidic at first with dry grain flavor. It was rather bland when cold, but the flavor of cheerios gets stronger as it warms. Completely yeast free flavor. I would prefer drinking it from a pub glass. Welcome hop finish. Full of surprises. ucusty (1887), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Bottle. Brown with a fully lasting head. Aroma of banana/cloves. Flavor is a balance of sweet, sour and a little bitter. There is some caramel malt flavor as well. Watery palate. Very drinkable. I found it to be a little bland compared to their regular hefeweissbier. Still good though. TheBeerBaron (219), Florida, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Bottle. Clear light brown color like a cream soda. Medium head that mostly fades but a small covering remains throuhout the session. Sweet malty aroma with strong lemon zest. Airy light palate that refeshed the tognue. Robust malty flavor fuller than the Hefewiezen but otherwise contains the same citrus feel. A more pronounced hop flavor that makes this a great balanced beer. A thousand years of brewing and they are still going strong.
