Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

500 ml bottle from the LCBO- Decants a murky brown with orange hues as it is held up to the light. In the aroma, there is soft fruit, banana, some spice, clove, some dark fruit. Tastes of sweet banana and clove, dark fruit and a bit roasty/nutty with some yeast towards the end. Very creamy and fulfilling finish. I like this quite a bit.

500ml bottle, slight hazy brown-amber hue, with a thick beige head, yeasty, banana purée, spicy nutmeg, cinnamon, clove nose with a nice caramelized stewed apples, sultana raisin note, with a wheaty, biscuity, toasty malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, bananaish, fruity, wheaty, toasted, caramelized malt, spicy character of nice cinnamon, clovey stewed apples, with some ashen hints, and a soft dried fig, raisin accent, leading towards a spicy, cinnamon, wheaty, toasty, stewed apples, bananaish, raisiny finish.

bottle - pours dark honey color with a light tan creamy head. Bananas and cloves dominate the nose with a slight hint of vanilla wafer and apple. The flavor is banana again with caramel and just the lightest bit of bitterness in the finish to even it out. What can I say I really like this beer.

Pours a cloudy burnt orange. Smells of yeast, bread, bannanas and horseblanket. Taste follows the nose. Medium bodied, flavors are light on the palate, lots of carbonation in a good way.

Pours a cloudy light brown with a thick foamy off-white head. Aroma is earthy and bready with some light maltiness. Taste is surprisingly light and initially a bit sweet, with a bit of banana, cloves - finishes slightly bitter. Moderate to lively carbonation with a bit of a thin texture. Overall pretty nice

Hazy brown colour, big off-white head, lots of carbonation. Aroma is wheat, malt, yeast, fruit. Tastes with lots of carbonation, fresh, with hints of banana and peaches, a bit more malty ans sweeter than the normal hefeweissbier. NIce and refreshening.

very malty, a little salty(soy sauce), almost flowery, nice rich smell. a very hazy orange-brown with a lasting white head. taste of milk chocolate, dry, a little salty, tiny bit of egg (pleasant), bread, dark fruit. feel is creamy but average. definitely good and i feel stupid for ignoring it for so long, complex but juicy and easily sessionable

Cloudy brown/cider color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of wheat, brown sugar, and some fruit overtones; Flavor of wheat/malt, bananas, caramel, and some chocolate/toffee at the finish. Nicely balanced; Not what I was expecting at first - but it quickly grew on me.
