Commercial Description:
Supple, malty and mellow. Its harmonious flavour is the great strength of our dark wheat beer.

very malty, a little salty(soy sauce), almost flowery, nice rich smell. a very hazy orange-brown with a lasting white head. taste of milk chocolate, dry, a little salty, tiny bit of egg (pleasant), bread, dark fruit. feel is creamy but average. definitely good and i feel stupid for ignoring it for so long, complex but juicy and easily sessionable

Cloudy brown/cider color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of wheat, brown sugar, and some fruit overtones; Flavor of wheat/malt, bananas, caramel, and some chocolate/toffee at the finish. Nicely balanced; Not what I was expecting at first - but it quickly grew on me.

On Draft at Stubbie’s in Gainesville, FL. This is one of their non-rotating beers, rightfully so. Pours a hazy medium brown. Flavor is banana, clove, spice, some toasted malt, caramel. Dry after taste. Excellent session beer!

Bottle. Murky brownish orange body with a foamy beige head that lasts well. Aroma has notes of wheat, caramel, banana, spice and dark fruit. Flavour has a touch of sweetness and hints of malt, cinnamon, nuts and caramel. Medium bodied with reasonably high carbonation and a nice dry finish. Excellent dunkel, one of the best beers I have tried from Weihenstephaner.
