Pours cola brown with tan head. Caramel and raisin aromas. Flavors of toasted malts, caramel and dark fruits. Medium to full body with minimal carbonation.

50cl bottle. Pours cloudy dark red-brown with a moderate tan head. Sweet woody fruity burnt caramel aromas. Taste is malty burnt molasses with fruity toffee undertones and a warming mildly spicy and alcoholic finish. Thick creamy mouthfeel. Very filling. One for a cold winter’s night. A fine example of the genre.

Pours a dark brown having a healthy looking light brown frothy/thick head. Aroma is very malty with notes of toffee, raisin, caramel, and hints of dark fruit. Flavor is rich and creamy with malt all around. Starts with hints of raisin then moves into a little caramel , toffee and molasses. Sweet and semi milky. A very good doppelbock.

Definite caramel and molasses aroma, maybe even a bit nutty. Dark sanguine appearance with a tan head. Flavor has some caramel, perhaps even taffy flavors mixed in with some ripe fruit, perhaps apple. Very creamy palate. Beautiful.

Smells sweet and carmely. Taste is malty, nutty and a little spicy. Mouthfeel is less carbonated than I expected but extremely smooth. This is a quality doppelbock.

500 ml bottle. Deep stained glass brown color. Big, foamy head. The aroma is all out lagery, sweet with a caramel funkiness. Smooth and creamy on the palate, this goes down oh so easy. Toffee and butterscotch tones. Pretty sessionable ABV keeps it light and drinkable. No real hop character. Excellent beer.

0.5l - Dark brown liquid under small, light brown head. Wood and bread on a sweet smelling nose. Creamy, oaky, vanilla palate, a little sweet but fitting with the style. A nice bock.
