Courtesy of Nate. Crystal clear burgundy with a strong beige head. Smells incredibly fruity and spicy with caramel and brown sugar. Very smooth, full and creamy body. Strong and clean caramel and toffee tastes with a big fruity background. Easy drinking and hides the alcohol well.

From bottle. Rich malty nose with Twizzlers and chocolate, light metallic twang over the molasses. Sweet, a bit dusty. Mild fruity character in there, not much hop bitterness, though. Characteristic German Doppelbock aroma, very rich. Dark brown with ruby tint, clear, with thin off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy watery body, with medium-heavy carbonation. Starts sweet and rich, with molasses, caramel-like maltiness, toffee, and chocolate. Mild bit of acidity and bitterness, with light alcoholic notes, too. Not as complex and deep as Celebrator (from what I can remember, anyway), but still a nice Doppelbock in the German tradition. Finish is lightly bitter with a dry metallic tang and lasting sweetness. Beany nutty sweet after with a bit of warming.

Poured a nice clear brown with with a light brown head which had nice lacing and mild retention. Aroma had some nice sweet malts mixed with a nutty character. Flavor was sweet with caramel notes and balanced out by a nice wheat biscuit-like malts. Creamy body. Good beer.

Dark copper brown. Some creamy light brown head, sustaining. Rich malty aroma. Strong toast and munich character with some caramel. Very creamy and smooth. Light, almost playful, but strong maltiness. Munich and caramel flavors predominate. Full and thick palate immediately fading away almost asking for another sip.

Bottle; pretty cheap price. Pour a darker shade of brown with a medium, very light brown. Aroma was very good with chocolate covered caramel, fruit, dough and yeasty alcohol. Very quality palate. Good taste with a high amount of complexity. A great example of the style.

500ml bottle- pours a rich amber color with a nice tan 2 finger head. Slight malty aroma noted. Caramel and chocolate noted on the initial taste. Smooth with a hint of hops. Alcohol is there but never become intrusive. Easy to drink and a pretty well done Doppelbock overall.
