I think this brew is suffering from comparison as I sampled Celebrator Dopplebock yesterday. On its merits though Korbinian smells of malty molasses. A bit one dimensional compared to others. Flavor is good, just doesn't have the complexity I was looking for in a dopple. guzzler67 (1288), Hanover, Maryland, USA

Roasted caramel and chocolate malt aroma accented with dark fruit. Very smooth, full-bodied mouthfeel. Complex, fruity taste with hints of molassas and black bread. One little harsh note at the very end of the finish.
