The aroma is strongly alcohol-sugared. Indeed, the flavor is rich and thick with cooked sugar, nuts, roasted malt. Even some raisin here. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA

Medium amounts of CO2 bubbles slowly rise to the top of the creamy, ivory head that has fades into a filmy cap. Scattered streaks of lace are left around the glass.
Smell is of toffee, vanilla, roasted nuts, cocoa, and sugary caramel. Super nice with light booziness.
Taste is of the same, rich, well blended aromas. This is a nice treat via Germany.
Mouthfeel is super smooth, creamy, sugary, medium bodied, along with a velvet balance that glides along the palate.
Drinkability...what a treat. I had Matt Capone (BA capones) special order this b/c I’ve never seen it in the SE PA market for some reason. No wonder it’s such a rare treat...it gets gobbled up whenever it comes around. GG (1672), NorCal, California, USA

The pour into my goblet had an eruptive head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was nice and malty. Appearance was a mahogany brown with a tan head. Very minimal hop in the flavor, strong in the malt department but not TOO malty. A very filling beverage to say the least! Very high marks for this one." greig (172), Hamilton, New Zealand

Tastes heavily of caramelised bread pudding with a dusting of cinnamon. Mouthfeel is thick and comforting, but the hop balance saves it from being cloying. stison42 (318), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA

Big malt flavor, again with a touch of roast. Medium mouth feel. You would never know this has a >7% alcohol content.A Wonderful Lager llcooldave (337), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Beautifully complex flavor: bready & nutty with a touch of dried fruit thrown in. Normally I’m not a bit fan of the dried fruit flavor but this has a slight bitter dryness that really balances out the sweetness. Korbinian is a practically a perfect beer. Pershing (149), Garland, Texas, USA

Full bodied and moderalty sweet with a nice lingering finish left me wanting more. One of the best Dopplebocks I’ve had in a while. I realized this was a great beer when half was gone in just a few moments.
