Pours a clear pale gold with a large lasting foamy white head. Aroma of banana (but thankfully not too much), yeast, wheat and light spices. Flavour of banana, other fruit, yeast, some sweet candy, light spices and a light, short bitter finish -- quite refreshing. Average bodied. As usual with this brewery, a solid version of the style -- great stuff. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Very nice aroma - lots of wheat, some yeast, very fresh - nice. Medium yellow, small white head. Nice taste - yeasty, lots of clove, good wheat/malt base. Full flavoured, medium body, nicely carbonated. I cannot speak for this style specifically, but this was a very good beer. GMCC2181 (883), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2008 The aroma was plain, not too impressive. Pours golden yellow, typical head. Fizzes nicely in the mouth, a little spice can be detected to balance out the alcohol. Tasty. unclemattie (2439), Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Big German 500ml bottle.. Pours clear golden yellow, white foamy head. Strong banana aroma. Lots of spiciness. Nice German yeast flavors, big dough. Chewy wheat presence. Huge flavor. Rich and complex. And it’s clear. Finishes with a mild spice. Maybe some nutmeg in there as well. Overfall, dominate to the style. This one was for the German soccer team who just killed Portugal 3-2. PROST! onlyrocknroll (220), Cork, Ireland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Clear yellow with a fine sized rocky head. The aroma is pleasing enough, wheat and a little spice, but is quite soft. The flavour is a little sweet, and also has wheat and spice, making this a rather two-dimensional beer. Ok, but really dull, I simply lost interest in drinkng it half way through. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Clear golden with lots of sparkle and a thick head. THis has a light cinnamon spiciness with vague fruitiness (banana, pear). Suprisingly full body yet only vaguely malty. Lightly spicy (nutmeg) and fruity (pear). Good for what it is.
