Commercial Description:
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

(Bottle) Pours golden. Incense, banana and clove in aroma. Light flavour of banana, clove and wheat. Round and buttery mouthfeel. Light to medium bodied. A very nice kristall.

1 pt. bottle poured clear with a moderate frothy head. light golden in color aroma was lemon/citrusy with hops and a touch of clove tasted very hoppy, again with lemon and clove, and a touch of banana. it tasted just a tad soapy. mouthfeel was a little over-carbonated for the style. it bites a little in the back. overall, not terribly drinkable in my opinion. It’d be good with white sauce on pasta, or seafood, but not with bar food.

Prod. 7426. Bottled. Beer is clear, light pale yellow with a moderately sized, frothy, white, mostly and quickly diminishing but lasting head.
The aroma is malty with light notes of dusty toasted grain; Hoppy with light notes of lemon zest, resinous herb; Light notes of banana/clove, tropical fruit, trace of mineral.
The flavor is light/moderately sweet, moderately acidic/dry, lightly bitter with an average-length, lightly acidic, lightly sweet, unclean-tasting finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.

Not nearly as good as Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbeir. The color is pale straw and very transparent. Wheaty aroma, with a very slight hint of banana. The flavor is much the same. More crisp and dry than their Hefeweissbier, much less yeast flavor. Some hints of the banana and pear notes which are so prominent in the unfiltered variety. This isn’t bad, but I probably won’t buy it again.

Poured lager-gold with 5 cm of white head. Good lace. Aroma of wheat. More wheat and banana on the tongue; not much else. I couldn’t detect any yeast at all. Thin body on a spritzy, very carbonated mouth-feel. This is what it should be; a straight-up beer with nothing else interesting going on.

Clear straw yellow with a big fluffy head diminishing to nothingness very rapidly (I could hear the bubbles fizzing and busting). Full wheaty esters. Clovey banana, apples light sweetness. Not a fan of yeast, but a bit sharp. Fizzy thin flat beer. No real body here really. Uninteresting wheat. Creamy banana, sharp appley tartness. A good bit of diacetyl. No lingering flavor, easy drinking. A bit unclean. A lingering toastyness is clearly misplaced in this beer.

Extremely drinkable and pleasant weizen. Not so spicy as some weissbiers, but with a pleasant sweetness.
