Not because it is an outstanding beer, but because it’s a beer that looks like every yobbos favourite pale lager while actually having a decent taste. This poured with a medium sized head and had huge carbonation bubbles flying from the bottom of the glass to keep it there as long as it could. Plenty of banana in the aroma, but not much clove until tasting. A rounded creamy mouthfeel that serves to exacerbate the sweet flavour. There’s a touch of bitterness there too, but it’s barely discernable. Definitely one to try again in the summer months given it’s reasonably priced, but nothing to rush back for. yomintyfresh (53), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2007 Really fizzy, goes down easily. However, it lacks a lot of the awesome yeasty flavor from the standard Hefeweizen. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Very similar to their hefe, big ol banana and clove dominate the aroma and flavor. Slightly lighter on the palate, but still retains that high carbonation, big crispness on the palate giving it a lot of personality. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Amyl acetate, expanding into banana, and floral. Taste is crisp and refreshing, but shows a lack of fullness due to the filtering. npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Clear yellow, small bubbly head. Very light aroma with a touch of grassy, spicy noble hops. Thin in flavor, fairly sweet and malty. A decent bit of sting from the CO2. Rather boring. milewide (618), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2007 look like poale lager, with very firm head, and the carbonation is very lively as if it was boiling all the time. very nice yeast and wheat aroma, ti is still hefeweizien but it is like deprived of something nourishing, very refreshing but not as good as the hefeweizen, flavour is bit metalic, medicine guzzler67 (1285), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2007 Clear, bright, golden yellow appearance with a large, rocky, white head and modest lacing. Aroma is full of the typical fruity esters and spices, especially cloves. Smooth, clean taste, slightly medicinal, with a sweet, wheaty, banana laced fruitcake flavor. Lingering finish from the light bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel.
