Commercial Description:
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

Crystal clear gold body with a huge, pillowy white head. Aroma of banana and clovy, like a hefe. Flavor has more of the same, with a hoppy bite and lots of effervescence. Finishes sweet and tart. My first sample of an interesting style.

Pours suck a pale yellow it is almost void of any color at all. Large expanding foamy head. Aroma is light fruit, pear and apple, with notes of wheat. Foam sings like a bowl of Rice Krispies. Very light and smooth drinking, bit of an oily feel, with a bit of spice in the flavor with preludes a gentle warmth. Very nice.

500ml bottle: Yellow straw colour beer, with a huge frothy pure white head, generous carbonation visible. Wheaty nose, sweet with hints of lemon, some spicy esters also apparent. Light flavours of spice and banana esters, wheat is at the fore smooth, rolls along the tongue effoertlessly , some citric elements come into play, fast dry finish. A very drinkable beer from Germany and my first Kristallweizen..

poured into a tall goblet. pours a clear golden yellow with lots of bubbly carbonation. has a full white frothy head, aroma of sweet wheat. taste is good and wheaty, very light and refreshing. sweet on the front, with a wheaty middle to finish. a filtered hefeviezen, good, but I like unfiltered better. German beers are very reliable and crisp, though that is there standard.....

Pours a lovely yellow golden hue, aromas of bananas, lemon sorbet, flowers, cereal, and yeast rise out of frothy white head, mostly lasting, sheets of fine lace. Pale biscuity malts, banana, yeast, quiet dry palate, faint hops, yeasty twang. Skinny, but flavorful.

Maybe it is me but I am not a Kristall Weissbier fan, it seems like they make a flavourful weiss then suck all the flavour out it. Page 489 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide.

Pours crystal clear pale pale yellow with big, dense, lasting head. Lively carbonation. Slight clove aroma, slight banana aroma. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Not great.

Carbonation was good with compact bubbles. Color is crystal clear gold. Aroma was banana and citrus. Flavor is not overly sweet. Not bad. Mouthfeel is very smooth. Very light body.
