Mar 11, 2007 Pours a lovely yellow golden hue, aromas of bananas, lemon sorbet, flowers, cereal, and yeast rise out of frothy white head, mostly lasting, sheets of fine lace. Pale biscuity malts, banana, yeast, quiet dry palate, faint hops, yeasty twang. Skinny, but flavorful.

Mar 8, 2007 Pours crystal clear pale pale yellow with big, dense, lasting head. Lively carbonation. Slight clove aroma, slight banana aroma. Mouthfeel is a bit watery. Not great.

Mar 3, 2007 Carbonation was good with compact bubbles. Color is crystal clear gold. Aroma was banana and citrus. Flavor is not overly sweet. Not bad. Mouthfeel is very smooth. Very light body.

Mar 1, 2007 An excellent Weizen. Poured to a thick white head which quickly disappeared back into the glass. Color is light golden brown. Aroma is nice. Mouthfeel is smooth with little aftertaste. Flavor is great for a hefe. Do not use a lemon.

Feb 27, 2007 Pours a crystal clear pale yellow. The head is huge, frothy, and of decent duration. Carbonation is good with tight, compact bubbles. Aroma is initially strong with banana but soon gives way to a more fruiiness and finally a dry spicey quality. The flavor of the first few sips is fruity and then lighly spiced. Eventually this gives way to a more dry and somewhat champagne like feel. The feel overall is light and crisp.

Feb 25, 2007 My least favorite of the Weizen family. All the unfiltered goodness has been filtered leaving me with a bland, banana-y, thin-palate, weak brew. Sigh.

Feb 19, 2007 Poured a pale yellow with a huge white fluffy head that lasted quite a while. Great lacing. Very sweet citrus smell. Tast was not overly sweet. Citrus, banana, although very slight...Very yeasty up front, and slightly bitter, dry finish...Very drinkable beer. Really, no aftertaste at all. Would be a great summer brew...
