Commercial Description:
The source of its pearling, effervescent taste is the secret fermentation process which we have developed especially for our crystal wheat beer. It quenches your thirst like no other beer. With its elegant appearance, it is the speciality of our brewery. Goes well with fish, seafood and light dishes.

First Kristall I have ever had I think it is the best beer I have had not counting Hoegarrden wit and Hacker Pshorre Weiss. I hope to try more Kristalls. I think it has such a good flavor. What I like about Weiss beers is that they have a real food like taste. They can be smoky or sweet. Each gulp is different, and great. This is a sweet one and tastes wonderful

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 500ml bottle into a Weizen glass. There is no freshness date on the label but there is a bottle number 0079 on the back label. Appearance: The body has a clear golden color with lots of beautiful carbonation steaming up to the surface. The pour produced a very tall, aggressive and tight foamy head. It has a bright white color with great retention and lacing. Smell: Its nose is full of fruity yeast with notes of banana and clove. There are notes of pale beady wheat as well and just a touch of citrus. Taste/Palate: The flavor is very bright and fresh with plenty of fruity yeast. There are notes of banana, clove and a slight hint of citrus fade into dry crisp wheat malt notes. The finish is very crisp and snappy with some wheat tang and citrus quickly leaving the tongue. The body has a solid medium feel with cleansing active carbonation. Notes: This was my first Kristalweizen and I was very impressed with the bright clean flavor and good solid yeast flavor. There was much more yeast character than I was expecting in this crystal clear German wheat beer.

Beautiful beer! Literally. Must be poured like I got it here at Bodega downtown La Crosse, in a tall weisse beer glass - then it looks so efervescent; almost glowing. Great offwhite foamy huge head with lots of lace. Immensely satisfying yet light and refreshing. Lovely typical esthery aroma, great fruity carbonated flavor. Body to match. Brilliant yellow gold color. I’m enjoying it with salted roasted giant Chinese soy beans. *burp*

This is a very nice, tasty, yet crisp, light, refreshing beer. It is gold with a huge, hard-to-control, dense white head that is thicki, long-lasting, only slowly diminishing to a permanent smaller head and it leaves nice lacing in even rings. The aroma is very aromatic but light in body, being light grain, pine, herbal, with a metallic hint. The taste is like the aroma, with definite, persistent, strong flavour, but light and crisp. There is a faint bubblegum element in the middle, before a crisp finish and a long, mellow grain aftertaste. It has light bitterness. In the end, a delicious, refreshing beer that is highly drinkable, light & crisp but very flavourful.

Incredibly refreshing with banana aroma and nice foamy head. Crispness in flavor and texture.Less demanding then their Hefe Weizen. This is my favorite wheat!

Pours clear, bright pale yellow with a full, semi creamy froth. Decent head retention. Good residual lacing w a full silky canopy. Aromas of crisp banana cream. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. The texture is somewhat creamy yet retains it’s snappy cripness. Flavors are bright, crisp, and clean w/ a defined banana spice character although not overdone . Well balanced and very refreshing with a slight lemon rind and peach pit bittering on the finish. Highly recommended.

Crisp and strong. This beer should be opened only at weddings and funerals, and any time I want to get drunk.

Beautifully appealing beer in my tall weizen glass ... bright golden and active with a big cushy pillow of a head. It has a crisp malty aroma. The flavor is a nice cross-breeding ... crisp malt of a pilsner with the mellow yeast and doughiness of a weizen. Exceptional.
