Pours a deep clear gold with noticable bubbles and slight white head. Medium body with even dry/sweet flavor balance, late hop bitterness. Jvittorio4187 (255), Boardman, Ohio, USA

Aoma is of sweet malt and a little rice like. Taste is very refreshing and clean. Finish is clean. aracauna (2389), Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2007 There’s a solid maltiness to this beer. Fairly dry, it has that straw malt that I like in my pale lagers. A very tasty all-malt lager. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Dec 7, 2007 Updated: May 27, 2008After trying this once and being unimpressed, I have several months later revisited it. I don’t klnow what the explanation is, but this seems to me clearly to be an unequivocally all-round outstanding beer. It’s gold with a huge white head steadily shrinking to a permanent smaller head. It leaves very nice lace. The aroma is bread, honey, hints of pine, and light fruit, and overall extremely nice. The taste is wonderful, sublte, complex, balanced, with a lot of flavour and full, even body. It tastes of bread, pine, honey, hints of lemon, sweetish with light bitterness. It is exceedingly drinkable and one of those beers that fits the definition, to me, of "beer." BelgianBeerGal (1291), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 12, 2007 Bottle poured into pint glass. Rather average beer. Clear goulden colour with good carbonation but no real head. Aroma is faint grain and the flavour is thin with more grain. Not bad, just average. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 2, 2007 An alright looking yellow with a foamy quickly diminishing head. Sweet malt and ammonia nose. It has a tart sour mash kind of taste with an after taste that reminds me of the smell of silage witch is a combination of ground alfalfa, corn and stalks fermented. Lets just say, it tastes like it might have turned. phobos1031 (71), Paradise, Nevada, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Golden in color with almost no head. Aroma of sweet malts, corn and citrus. The flavor is weak citrus, sweet malts, with a thin palate. Not their best brew by far, but inoffensive.
