| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 17, 2007 (bottle) Pours nice frothy white head over a cloudy piss yellow. Ummmm. Anyway the aroma is of yeast and barley and smells natural. Flavor is very small and water dominates. Flavor of yeast dominates with almost no hop or ethonal present. Not bad, but boring. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA

Pours a clear pale yellow with a fading white head. Sweet malty and somewhat earthy nose. Light body and fine, active carbonation. Taste is lightly sweet pale malt with just a touch of cardboard. Crisp, noble hop finish. hopdog (5612), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 14, 2007 1 pint .9 oz bottle acquired in trade (Mystery Swap v2) with shp555 (thanks!). Light gusher - all over my leg and desk. Poured a light and clear straw color with a large sized white head. Aromas of rotten vegetables, grains, and light honey. Tastes of watered down grains and honey. Body thin and watery. Was this bottle off (note the gushing and lower rating)? MiP (9157), Sønderborg, Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 19, 2007 On tap at Papagos: Pours to a mostly clear pale straw colored body with a medium white head that sticks for about 1/4 of the time it takes me to drink the beer. The aroma shows some light bread, bread dough, light biscuit, pale grains, alongside a very subtle light fruity malt, a bit of feathery & light earthy/floral hops. I dive into my first sip with anticipation. Like the aroma, the taste is subtle and not overwhelming, but it’s in no way lacking in complexity or depth of flavors. There’s some full(though not assertive) pale malt, grains, bread dough, light earthy biscuit, bits of pale malt sweetness surface from time that keep the palate interested. There’s also some mild floral hop flavors, though not much bitterness or assertiveness coming from the hops, and there’s an almost hidden fruit quality that seems to come from qualities of both malt and hops. Light bodied, medium carbonated (by no means overly so), finishes with a lightly sweet pale malt flavors, though it’s fairly dry overall. This really is a top notch exemplar of the style and one of my favorites. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Golden, 2-finger white head. Pale malt, lemongrass and floral hops make up the aroma. Flavor on par. Nice mild sweet malt front, with earthy/grassy hop finish. Soft billowy mouthfeel. Of course ther is nothing in your face about this beer, just a very clean, well balanced brew.
