Mar 11, 2006 A pretty decent beer. I wasn’t really in the mood for a hefeweiss, so I bought this one because of the brewery. Pours pale yellow, nice body, aroma has a bite, as does the taste. Overall a good regular beer. It went over well at the party I brought it to.

Mar 5, 2006 Clear pale yellow. Well carbonated, flavorful, and has a nice bite. Had a few of these with a plate of Yaegerschnitel and spatzel. Perfect beer for any German style cuisine.

Mar 1, 2006 On tap at the Hessen Haus during the 2006 Crescent Moon Beer Bus Trip. Spaten is smoother and tastier on tap. Flora aroma. True lager appearance. Palate is a tad harsh. How is it possible that this beer tastes of corn?

Feb 28, 2006 Light golden yellow with quite a strong head. Distinctive wheaty aroma matches the slightly spicy wheaty taste with a smooth rounded finish.

Feb 27, 2006 (bottle) Pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head, quickly diminishing but leaving some lace. Freshly poured into the glass it has a dusty, gun-powder nose, later light sweet malty aroma with cake dough and a touch of floral hops. Sweet malty honeyish fruity taste, medium to light bodied, crispy mouthfeel, almost dry bitter fruity finish. Tasty and refreshing.

Feb 17, 2006 Tap. Had a pale aroma of grain and bitter. Yellow body with decent white head. A bitter flavored beer with some lemon added. Easy on palate, not to bad of a beer.
