Commercial Description:
A good beer takes time. The long lager time makes our pale beer a matter of mild, flavourful beer enjoyment. Brewed in accordance with a centuries-old beer tradition on Weihenstephan Hill.

Pours a clear golden color. Aroma is a little grainy and a little watery. Flavor is grainy and seems to be quite bitter. Not that good of a brew. Drinkable but I think a cheap lager would do in place of this stuff.

Pleasant aroma, full of malt and light fruity hops. Pours clear golden body with a head that don’t hang around. Light malt body, a bit of appley fruit flavours and grassy hops. Hint of dry bitterness at the end. Doesn’t stand out as anything exciting to me, but decent none the less.

Clear yeallowy appearance, modest head formation. Grassy, hoppy, frutiy aroma. Sweet pale malt palate, spicey grassy hops, dry finish. Decent every day lager.

Flowery, malty aroma and flavor. Hops and hay. Soft bitter aftertaste. Well made, full bodied and malty helles.

Copper colored body, effervescent and slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Mildly malty aroma, sweet and slightly grassy. Mildly malty flavor with just a touch of citrus. Finishes slightly bitter.

This beer is just barely above average. It has a cloudy appearance and a floury taste, but not worth writing home about. It’s similar to the Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier, but not as good. Really, I was underwhelmed. Don’t expect much here.

American macrobreweries could take a lesson from this beer. It pours a golden yellow color with a one-fingered sudsy head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is mildly malty with a touch of grassiness. Nice smooth, full-bodied mouthfeel. It’s got a tasty sweet malt flavor with a dash of orange bitterness from the hops. Nice clean, crisp finish.
