Reviewed 10/18/2008 (Draft @ Opal Divines, Austin, TX): Pours an orangy colored cloudy body, with a white colored frothy head, lasting. Has a very peach aroma, fizzy. Sweet maltiness in the nose too. Puckering sweet taste, peach aftertaste. Some sourness. Tart, almost apply tart.

The classic Munich Helles. Aroma and taste of wonderful German grainey malt, taste is soft and tastey German grain, slightly sweet, the hops really never make an appearance, but if you get a fresh bottle, it is extremely satisfying

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Golden colour with small white bubbly head. Aroma is bready and grassy along with some slight notes of parfume. Flavour is grass, saltwater, some sweet malts and the finish is quite hayish. Refreshing, but not that exciting.

Standard pilsner with a slightly higher complexity of flavors. Interesting, but nothing more.
