Commercial Description:
Slightly bitter, mild, with a fragrance of hops - our pilsner is a cut above the ordinary. A beer with character.

Bottle. Pale gold colour with a slim white head. Aroma has grassy hops and sweet malts. I’m no big fan of Pilsners, but I quite like this; pretty well balanced malt and hops in the taste, light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Pale yellow and pored very flat.Slightly hoppy although too thin to make it a very good example of this syle. Just reasonable.

Bottled. A straw coloured lager with no head. The aroma is sweet and a little buttery with some floral hop notes. The taste is OK. Quite refreshing with a reasonable hop/malt balance. More flavour than yer average lager.

Bottle from Asda. Curiously poor tasting lager from this famous brewery. There’s a greasy vegetable and cabbage quality that I don’t find attractive. Soapy near the finish. Not much hop bite. Not nice.

Tap: clear golden body. Aroma is grassy hops and bready malts. Flavor is the same, simple but enjoyable.

Bottled at a Thai Restaurant, Cologne, 330ml. Light gold colour with large head. Hard malty pilsen with a sharp perfumed note. Little finish apart from a dry maltiness. Unimpressive beer.

Flowery hops, almost like roses. Soft carbonation (draft version at the brewery tap). Very aromatic - an outstanding pils.

Pale gold, sweet malt aroma, mostly malt palate with a hint of hoppy bitterness. Not bad, but not worth premium price in my opinion.
