Overall it is sweet with no distinguishable hop bitterness. Some may like this, but it certainly isn’t for me. Surprisingly interesting flavor for the style. Thinner palate. Just plain funky and weird in a not so great way. Stew41 (1054), Caulfield, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2004 Clean, clear golden colour. Looks fresh. Slightly sweet, almost caramalised nose - good lift. More sweet, malty notes in the mouth. Shows good balance, and does firm up a little at the fnish but could be a littler more hoppy for mine. Not bad though, and going nicely for the first hot night of the season. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 22, 2004 Updated: Oct 20, 2006what’s the use of a pilsener with no hops. zzzzz. smells slightly fruity and lemony, some sharp grassy hops but not a lot. nice full pils malt but only enough hops so that it’s not sweet, not enough to actually make it bitter. boring, middle of the road but fairly clean at least. rer8: quite sour. worty flavours - perhaps oxidised. i’m sure this is better fresh. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2004 After drinking so many ales and Belgians this one is a pleasant change. Good golden Pils character and clean head. The nose is dry and has a good hint of grassiness in a way that is similar to a Dutch version. The flavour is equally clean and crisp with a fine balance of hop and malt finishing drily and with a good mouthfeel. omhper (12247), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2004 Bottled. Pale golden, creamy head. Dry and lightly grassy. Crisp, soft bready malt character and balanced bitterness. A good, thirst quenching pilsener, perhaps with less than average bitterness. johninmelb (695), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
