Aroma: caramel, bread . Appearance: brown, clear. Medium body, lively. A very nice dunkel. I wonder if this beer is actually the same beer as Hofbrau München Dunkel, because it is actually brewed by HB.

Bottle (500ml). Poured mahogany with a decent sized; rocky, off-white head which was average lasting. Aroma had strong notes of black currents and tart blackberries with some sweet toffee malts hiding beneath as well as some cranberries somewhere in the mix. Flavor was a light bitterness with sweet toffee malts, sultana’s, blackberries and a dry nutty finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation, a quite watery texture and a ok finish.

Clear and dark reddish brown in colour with a thin off-white head. Low to average carbonation. Sweet, caramel and malty aroma and flavour. Some bitterness, dry finish. Quite nice. 500ml bottle.

Dark brown with beige head. Roasty caramel, chocolate, malty aroma. Some hop bitterness in the malty, chocolate taste. Dry slightly sour finish. Annoying carbonation (typical to the brewery) almost spoils this otherwise good and balanced product.

Thanks to my man Philipp for this nice brew. Half-liter bottle pours a typical dark brown with decent beige head, receding to persistent layer. Even when chilled, beer offered a big, chocolate-malty nose. The flavor brought character, refreshment and balance... lightly sweet and bready maltiness, lightly roasted, lightly bitter. Plenty of flavor yet nothing sticks out. A touch on the fizzy side, but not overly so. A simple beer, but someone on the front end of it really knew what they were doing.

Bottle. Pours a nice deep amber-brown colour with a big well lasting off-white creamish head. Aroma of roasted caramel, soft roasty malt and some dark bread. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with roasty malt, roasty caramel, some bitter hops, bread and some brown sugar.
