Feb 2, 2009 Aroma: wheat clove and sweet malt with a hint of banana and alcohol. Appearance: cloudy yellow with a smallish white head that quickly flattened. Flavour: banana and clove in spades with heaps of sweet malt and some dry wheaty notes. Palate: thick and lingering banana.

Feb 2, 2009 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong and yeasty, modest fruity in the background. Not too dry or sourish. Well balanced, warming finish. Really good!

Jan 30, 2009 16.9oz bottle. Pours a light golden yellow with a small foamy head. Aromas banana, clove and wheat. Flavors are banana, and yeasty wheat. Palate is superb. What a well crafted brew.

Jan 27, 2009 Survivorman is in the Outback and I’m sipping on this Vitus, good deal. Cloudy, dark gold pour with a large, lasting white head. Strings of lacing decorate the glass. Ripe banana aroma with orange and lemon accents. Strong yeast scent coupled by mild spice and brown sugar. Sweet and musty, this beer is lighter in body than expected and has a noticeable kick. Clean mouth feel and drinks easy for it’s strength. It’s an amped up hefe with big banana flavor and a touch of caramel. A hint of clove and prominent yeast flavors. Dry and firm, it’s a nice offering.
