Pours out in an almost opaque dark yellow colour with a rich sticky white foam. Surprisingly fresh citric aroma with dense undertones of cloves, banana and vanilla. medium to full-bodied with strong spicy and dryish notes of cloves and all-spice with sweet undertones of banana and Seville oranges. Long spicy and rather dry finish of oranges, green bananas and cloves. Not my typical dark and hearty weizenbock, more like an Imperial Weizen. travita (1937), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2008 I don’t think I’ve ever had a weizen bock before, wasn’t sure what to expect. Its light yellow and cloudy, thick head. Got a banans and clove thing going on, basically tastes like a big heffe. Has a slightly sour, dry finish. Heffes aren’t really my thing, but I can drink it and appreciate it. Really very little hint of alcohol, I wouldn’t have guessed this was a big beer. Appearance: Sunny side , bright amber-orange brew , medium creamy top. Nose : Slightly sour , some citric wheat with rich fruit aromas sparkled with vodka . Good , solid nose.7+ Flavor/Palate : Clean , smooth yeast accented . Fruity malts followed. Full bodied with plenty of wheat malt character. Finish still full and big. 14+

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 24, 2008 Pour is bright golden yellow with a slight haze and a smallish tight bubbled soapy bright white head...smell is very light and fruity with lots of sweetness and tons of bubblegum...some floral notes and definitely light yeast and banana...so far, very uncharacteristic for a weizen bock...the mouth feel is slight with moderate carbonation and very thin...light citric sweetness and some smooth grassy flavors...very unimpressive thus far...finish is lightly tart and somehow dry...the interesting thing is that it does taste far from alcoholic, which is the only interesting thing... | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Vitus is very cloudy light yellow beer with nice white head. Aroma is very weizen-like. There are lot of wheat in the flavour and also some yeast and fruits. Medium body and in the end surprisingly sticy to drink (positive way). More body than normal weizen but otherway typical. Anyway very high-quality beer. drewbeerme (2299), Chicago, Illinois, USA
