| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2009 aroma is eggy banana and not too different from many regular strength weizens. appearance is hazy but quite light colored yellow. flavor is big sharp carb and distinct and crisp wheat with little in the way of spice or esters. id prefer a bit more of a sipper in this style, but in its defense this is very drinkable for the ABV. iamqueensblvd (226), , Iowa, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 12, 2009 A hazy golden color with a luxurious white 3-finger head. Classic aroma of bubblegum/banana/cloves, continuing into the flavor. A great wheat beer with a little extra kick of maltiness which adds some complexity. Very clean palate, almost no aftertaste, and very refreshing. mixos (64), Greece

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Strong four-finger head. Good, spotty lace on the glass. Very cloudy. The liquid is straw colored.
Okay, something must be wrong. I smell creamed corn. I guess there is light wheat in the background. Very unusual nose, not exactly unappealing, but not expected either.
A smooth bodied beer--heavy body and light carbonation. The flavor is different from any other beer I’ve ever had and I can’t say that I like it. There are elements of bocks and wheat beers as to be expected. There is a soured sweetness that takes some getting used to. The creamed corn remains and detracts from the flavors. Yet, it is a complex offering. Lots of cream flavors.
I can’t recommend it, but I know that it is different enough to seek out to try something very different. BeerChaser0078 (370), Melbourne, Australia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a big white head. Aroma is strong banana with sweet spiciness. Flavour is wheat, apricot, cloves and other spices as well as a hint of melon. Full bodied. Starts out sweet but finishes quite dry. Not Bad. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Hazy straw yellow with a quickly fading white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, toasted malt and light spice. I didn’t pick up any banana in this one. Taste of fruit, apricot, alcohol, malt and yeast. Reminds me more of a Belgian ale than a weizen bock. Finishes up very dry. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
