Commercial Description:
A light-coloured, spicy single-bock wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel. Prost!

Very nice. Rich and creamy. Generally a solid doppelbock flavor here, but just a bit of wheat bite to it. Very flavorful.

strong banana, brown sugar, alcohol aroma, bananas foster! also lots of yeast and some spicy citrus. cloudy yellow straw, thick frothy eggshell head. nice sweet mild flavor, backed by a bit of citrus and cloves, though just a bit watery. body’s also slightly thin, though nicely textured, almost crunchy, with a nice sweet spicy finish.

Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a big rocky white head that leaves some lacing behind. Aroma of banana, clove, wheat, yeast, floral notes, and coriander- not unlike a traditional German hefewezen on the nose. Banana also leads the flavor, with wheat and yeast, as well as spices and herbal notes. Medium bodied, with active carbonation. Wheaty mouthfeel. Nice balance, good beer.

Pours cloudy gold with a big frothy head. Aroma-pear, banana, clove, lemon, bread. Taste-much like the aroma with pears being the most forward then cloves and sugar. Sweet, short and fruity finish. Really great.

Poured into a flute with a medium yellowy head. Aromas of malts and chocolate were prominent. The taste was yeasty at first and ended with malty aftertaste. I enjoyed it very much.

Spicey banana bread, nutmeg aroma. Hazy pale gold color with lively, pillowy white head. Lighty banana bread dry fruitiness with a spice behind it. Notes: Dec ’09 Kaiserslautern

Bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a large fluffy white head. Nice big banana and wheat with a nice musky yeast note that shows up as it warms. Simple but clean. Medium bodied, light banana and wheat. Finishes with a bit of warming alcohol and a touch of banana.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a big white head. Smells like banana and clove, and tastes as such. Some alcohol presence but overall great. A Weizenbock done right.

A nice clovey banana taste similar to other weihenstephaner products. Pretty cloudy appearance. Very carbonated (again like other weihenstephaner products) and a nice aroma and somewhat sweet taste. A good choice overrall
