Draft. Rich amber color with a nice cream-colored head. Low malty, nutty aroma. Nice malt, light nutty, cocoa, light roast, slight grassy flavor. Medium bodied. Lingering rich malts with grass and a bit of lemony citrus.

Draught at the brewpub. Nut brown, small head. Fruity strawberry aroma, Medium sweet and medium bodied. Lightly roasty with some surprising estery flavour of tropical fruits. Medium bitterness. Not what I expected, but I like it.

On draft at brewery, consumed 11/19/07. Dark, cola brown - like when ice cubes melt in your Coke. Nice head at first, fades fairly quickly to a thin ring of white around glass edges. Malty nose with cola notes. Subdued malt character, followed by subtle hops, then big malt finish with (again) cola notes. Unusual, but it works. Interesting variation, reminded me a bit of a brown ale.
